Civil Engineering Institute “IG” Banja Luka is a scientific research institute, entered in the register of the Ministry of Science and Technology Development and Higher Education, and employs doctors of science, masters and engineers.<\/p>\n
It also has a scientific council in its composition, which consists of doctors of science-researchers with a scientific title. The scientific council decides on the acquisition of a research title, that is, determines the proposal for the acquisition of a scientific title. This is an important process because it ensures that recognition and advancement within the institution is based on the quality and contribution of the individual in their field.<\/p>\n
In addition to working on various projects, employees are also involved in scientific research work, through the preparation of various scientific\/professional papers and attending various workshops, congresses and seminars, as an important part of professional development. Congresses\/seminars\/conferences provide opportunities for employees to present their work, exchange ideas, but also to stay informed about the latest trends in their fields.<\/p>\n

Civil Engineering Institute “IG” Banja Luka was also the silver sponsor of the international conference “International Conference on Contemporary Theory and Practice in Construction XVI”, held in the period 13-14.06.2024. Employees of the Civil Engineering Institute “IG” Banja Luka, in the same conference presented the following papers: \u201cFlash floods vulnerability assessment of the municipality of \u010celinac, Bosnia and Herzegovina\u201d-research paper, \u201cInvestigation of the purpose of the travel in the area of Una – Sana canton for the needs of expressway construction\u201d, professional paper, \u201cStudy of long-term water supply in the area of municipality of Te\u0161anj, Bosnia and Herzegovina\u201d – professional paper \u201cThe influence of geodetic base quality in road design\u201d – research paper.<\/p>\n
Also, the Institute has entered into agreements on business and technical cooperation with various faculties, institutions both in BiH and in the Republic of Serbia – Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Association of Spatial Planners of Serbia, Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, etc, which results in a high-quality synergy between the academic and professional community, improving the quality of research, education and innovation. These partnerships enable the exchange of resources, expertise and ideas that contribute to the development of the scientific community and society as a whole.<\/p>\n
