The environment consists of the nature that surrounds us as well as everything that man has created with the help of science and technology in order to satisfy his needs. Each segment of the environment: soil, water, sea and coastal area, air, nature and forests must be protected individually. In line with the law, everyone is obliged  to protect and improve the environment within their capabilities.

Development of environmental documentation with the aim of environmental protection implies a wide range of activities. Civil Engineering Institute “IG” Banja Luka develops all documents in this field, and some of them are:

Civil Engineering Institute “IG” Banja Luka has an ecological laboratory. We are accredited and certified for air quality monitoring and emission measurement; we also have authorisation for noise level measurement, sampling and physico-chemical analysis of water and soil.

We own four modernly equipped mobile air quality monitoring stations equipped with state-of-the-art analysers for measuring the basic air parameters – carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide and ozone, as well as a  solid particle sampler and a set for measuring meteorological parameters. All data is stored permanently and can be accessed at any time.
